On Instagram, Beatrice thanked Michelle for representing the country.

“Hi, Michelle! First of all, thank you so much for representing the Philippines really well in El Salvador for Miss Universe,” she said, saying Michelle’s hard work is finally paying off.

“Grabe ka. You’ve united the Filipino fans, and we’re so proud of you,” she continued. “Mahal na mahal ka namin and mabuhay ka, Michelle Dee!”

Beatrice then invited Filipino fans to vote for Michelle using the Miss Universe app, including her Voice for Change entry.

“It’s not yet too late. Cast your votes now,” she said.

Beatrice finished in the Top 5 of Miss Universe 2021, which was held in Israel.

Michelle aims to win the Philippines’ fifth Miss Universe crown with an advocacy for autism awareness.
