UST Paskuhan set for Dec. 21; still off limits to outsiders
The University of Santo Tomas (UST) is set to hold its annual Paskuhan concert on December 21, 2023.
With the theme "Paskuhan 2023: Witnessing the Joy of Christmas," the opening of lights around the campus and on the 70-foot-tall Paskuhan tree will be on December 1 at 6 p.m.
This will be followed by the Paskuhan Mass and the Thomasian Christmas feast, Agape, where Thomasians will gather as one family, sharing food.
On December 21, the university is expected to showcase various Filipino bands and artists on the Paskuhan stage, followed by a pyro-musical display.
The Paskuhan concert will only be exclusive to Thomasians and its alumni community, according to the student publication The Varsitarian, citing UST Secretary-General Fr. Louie Coronel.
"However, Paskuhan-related events at the UST Museum and Masses will be accessible to outsiders," the Varsitarian said on X.
The UST Paskuhan features a month-long Christmas celebration, including concerts and a fireworks display for the entire Thomasian community at its main campus in España, Manila. —VBL, GMA Integrated News
