'Ghost Fighter (Yu Yu Hakusho)' live action drops thrilling trailer


The teaser for Netflix's “Ghost Fighter” or “Yu Yu Hakusho” live action series finally here!

Fans finally got to meet the live-action version of Yusuke Urameshi (played by Takumi Kitamura), the teenage delinquent who is killed after getting hit by a car while saving a child. After his death, he is revived and named the Underworld Detective, wherein he must investigate supernatural cases in the human world.

The trailer showcased action-packed scenes and impressive graphics in less than two minutes.

Joining the cast are Shuhei Uesugi as Kazuma Kuwabara, Jun Shison as Kurama, and Kanata Hong as Hiei.

The live action adaptation of the classic manga and anime series was first announced in 2020. Production took five years to complete.

The anime was aired on GMA Network as "Ghost Fighter" in 1999 and it also streams on Netflix.
