Michelle Dee confidently introduces herself in Spanish at Miss Universe welcome dinner

Michelle Dee is off to a great start in Miss Universe!

According to her latest Instagram post, the Philippines’ delegate attended the Miss Universe welcome dinner in El Salvador.

When she had to introduce herself on stage, Michelle walked to the mic and confidently spoke in Spanish.

In her caption, Michelle thanked the pageant’s hosts for their hospitality.

“Once again, muschísimas gracias #elsalvador & @missuniversosv for the amazing hospitality you’ve been showing the whole @missuniverse organization! I can’t wait for the universe to experience such an amazing country,” she said.

Pageant fans commended Michelle for impressively speaking Spanish.

“Nice on Spanish! Love it Michelle,” a netizen said.

“I'm Hispanic. But this woman has an excellent Spanish, beautiful and a movie voice, simply extraordinary,” another user said.

Michelle has been taking part in pre-coronation activities in El Salvador, stylish in looks such as a cut-out dress, a printed swimsuit, and beach pants.

At her send-off media conference, Michelle said that she is ready for the pageant. She is competing for the crown with an advocacy for autism awareness, and is all set to bring her individuality.

The beauty queen and Sparkle actress previously teased her fierce runway walk. She also said that her Mark Bumgarner gown for the international pageant “will be iconic.” Michelle recently gave a hint about her national costume.

The Miss Universe coronation night is set for November 18, where Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will serve as a backstage correspondent.
