Dingdong Dantes, Arthur Solinap show off '90s dance moves: 'This is how we did it back in the day'
Throwback, indeed!
In a short Instagram video, Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes showcased his dance moves alongside his cousin and fellow Kapuso actor, Arthur Solinap.
“THIS IS HOW WE did it back in the day,” Dingdong said in his caption as they grooved to Black Machines’ “How Gee,” a popular ‘90s dance track.
Dingdong and Arthur were both members of the ‘90s all-male dance group, Abztract Dancers.
In his post, Dingdong referred to Arthur as “the OG” and the reason why he joined show business.
Arthur made sure to comment on Dingdong’s post, saying, “It’s always fun to dance with you, ka ‘Torre’ sa Abztract. Mula [noon] hanggang ngayon. Labyu, Guido!”
Arthur’s wife and fellow dancer Rochelle Pangilinan expressed delight in the short clip, exclaiming, “The OG’s!!!” while Rocco Nacino added, “[Yun] oh! Hataw!”
This isn’t the first time the cousins showcased their moves. Arthur previously shared a TikTok video of them dancing to Robyn’s “Do You Really Want me (Show Respect),” much to the delight of fans.
The Kapuso Primetime King and host also shares dance videos with his wife and Kapuso Primetime Queen, Marian Rivera, on TikTok.
“DongYan” is currently filming “Rewind,” an entry for the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival, marking their return to the big screen after 13 years.
