Sophia Laforteza makes it to the 'The Debut: Dream Academy' finale

20-year-old Sophia Laforteza is making waves in the world of music! After securing the top spot in the second mission of HYBE x Geffen Records' "The Debut: Dream Academy" program, she maintained her lead through the third round of the competition.

In the third and final mission, Sophia was grouped with Nayoung from South Korea, Manon from Switzerland, Daniela from the United States, and Celeste from Argentina. Together, they performed the Pussycat Dolls' hit "Buttons," with Sophia impressing both with her singing and dance moves.

Sophia garnered an impressive 45,184 fan votes during this round, propelling her to the live finale scheduled for November 17.

"The Debut: Dream Academy" is a collaborative effort between HYBE and Geffen Records, aiming to create the next global girl group.

HYBE is known for managing global sensations like BTS, TOMORROW x TOGETHER, SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, and NewJeans, among others.

Geffen Records, which is owned by Universal Music Group, currently represents artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Alesso, Kali Uchis, and Marshmello.
