P-pop group Alamat embraces 'mandirigma' roots in 'Dagundong' MV teaser
P-pop group Alamat just dropped the teaser of their upcoming music video, “Dagundong!”
The exciting 26-second clip released on Tuesday showed the six boys chanting “Isapuso ang pagkamandirigma.”
“Dagundong” will serve as the title track of Alamat’s upcoming album, “IsaPuso.”
It will also be used as the official theme song of Matteo Guidicelli’s upcoming movie, “Penduko.”
“Dagundong’s” full music video and the “IsaPuso” album will premiere worldwide on November 3 at 6 p.m.
Alamat debuted in 2021 with their single “kbye.” In October of the same year, they released the music video of their song, “Porque.”
In 2022, the group launched their EP “Pasulong,” featuring tracks such as “Maharani,” “Aswang,” and “Gayuma.”
In April, Alamat made it to pop culture YouTube channel MsMojo’s “Top 10 International Bands You Should Know About.”
Alamat is expected to end the year with their first solo concert happening on December 1 at the New Frontier Theater. Tickets are available here.
