Gloc-9, Ramdiss, and Hero drop newest single 'Umaga'

Gloc-9, Ramdiss, and Hero have joined forces for a new song called "Umaga."

The track showcases Manila’s flow masters' lyrics about staying strong and fighting despite life’s many challenges. It also has an unapologetic message about embracing one’s individuality. It's a raw and fearless anthem, encouraging listeners to break free from society’s expectations.

Together, Gloc-9, Ramdiss, and Hero bring energy, raw emotion, and a shared belief in the power of music to connect, inspire, and empower.

“Umaga” is an original Spotify single. It is part of KALYE X, Spotify's initiative that spotlights Pinoy hip-hop through meaningful collaborations with artists and communities.

Gloc-9, Ramdiss, and Hero are performing on Saturday night at the Circuit Event Grounds in Makati City for the KALYE X Manila concert.

It will be hosted by Dash Calzado, and will feature performances from Hev Abi and O SIDE MAFIA. Emcees from different hip-hop collectives are also set to spit bars at the Kalye City Xypher hosted by Rekta sa Kalye. More exciting activities include live graffiti by Trip 63 and interactive booths.

“Umaga” is out now and is part of the Kalye Hip-Hop playlist on Spotify. It also features two original singles, "Wa Na Wa" by Cookie$ and Midnasty, and "Kendeng" by Morobeats, celebrating the diverse sounds of Visayas and Mindanao. —Nika Roque/JCB,GMA Integrated News
