Pageant fans have begun revising their candidate “wish list” once again, following the removal of the age limit for Miss Universe contenders by the Miss Universe Organization.

Even Miss Supranational 2023 1st runner-up Pauline Amelinckx has her list of fellow beauty queens she thinks should give another shot at pageantry through Miss Universe Philippines.

In an interview with GMA News Online, Pauline said that she has a long list of names, including beauty queens who are not over 28 years old yet.

“There’s a very long list but even those that haven’t actually exceeded the initial age limit,” she said.

Pauline started her list with Miss International 2018 1st runner-up Ahtisa Manalo.

“I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to her a few weeks ago, a few months ago, Ahtisa, we’re waiting for you!” she said.

Pauline continued, “Of course, she was also my roommate a few days ago, we talked about it a little bit also, Emma Tiglao, I don’t know if the stars will change and fate will change for you as well.”

“The Sams,” Pauline added, referring to Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo and Miss Grand Philippines 2021 Samantha Panlilio.

“We’d love to see you all again on stage because we know how beautiful you’ve performed, how you raised your own flags, your own advocacies, and, of course, yourself as well and it was so amazing to rally up so many different people together,” Pauline said.

The Boholana beauty expressed her confidence that they could achieve it once more if they decide to pursue it.

“Of course, it’s all up to you, but know that there’s an entire nation that will support you in those journeys, too. But no pressure!” she said.

The Miss Universe Organization decided to remove its age limit for candidates last month. Previously, aspiring queens had to be between 18 and 28 years old.

The change will take effect starting with next year's pageant.
