'Lisa Frankenstein' trailer gives glimpse of Liza Soberano's Hollywood debut
Liza Soberano appeared in the teaser trailer for "Lisa Frankenstein," and fans are already loving it.
The Filipino actress was shown early in the trailer, telling Lisa Frankenstein (Kathryn Newton): "That's really weird, Lisa."
Directed by Zelda Williams and written by Diablo Cod, "Lisa Frankenstein" is inspired by the gothic novel "Frankenstein" by English writer Mary Shelley. The movie follows a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse.
Liza plays the role of Taffy, the stepsister of Kathryn's character Lisa. This is her debut project in Hollywood.
Earlier this year, Liza stirred controversy after rebranding herself and sharing her thoughts on Philippine entertainment, working behind the camera, and love teams.
"Lisa Frankenstein" will premiere on February 9, 2024. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
