Tim Yap’s annual Halloween party to feature works from Kidlat Tahimik, Leeroy New

Tim Yap’s annual star-studded Halloween party this year is poised to be the biggest one yet.

In the recent episode of “Surprise Guest with Pia Arcangel,” the eventologist said this year’s Halloween Ball, dubbed “Shake, Rattle, and Ball,” is the “most special one yet.”

To begin with, the party will be held at the national Museum of Anthropology.

“It’s [also the] first time na may gagawin ako that marries together [the works of] National Artist Kidlat Tahimik and young contemporary artist Leeroy New,” he added.

According to Tim, the exhibit will open during the Halloween Ball next week and remain open for the public until the end of the year.

“It’s all in the National Museum of Anthropology for us to [be] reminded that our own Philippine folklore, our own mythology, hindi [na] natin kailangan tumingin [pa] sa labas,” Tim said.

“Sarili natin, napakagaling [na], so I wanted to celebrate ourselves by having our own Filipino Halloween by celebrating our own culture, our own identity,” he added.

Last year, Rhian Ramos and Sam Verzosa attended Tim’s Halloween bash as Galaxy defenders.

Other Kapuso celebrities who attended last year include Miguel Tanfelix as cyborg and Ysabel Ortega as Princess Leia of “Star Wars,” among others.
