Lola Amour performs in a flood in official 'Raining in Manila' music video

It’s been “Raining in Manila,” for more than a thousand days in the much-awaited music video of Lola Amour’s top hit.

Set in an alternate reality, the MV showed that it’s been “Raining in Manila” for 1,427 days. The main character, John, is heartbroken as his wife Sheila has been missing. They reconnect when John discovers that Sheila is now a magic gecko. To show his love, John decorates an aquarium for her and sets up a fancy dinner.

However, the gecko gets lost and John cannot find his wife yet again. His neighbors have kidnapped her and put her in a jar. When John sees this, they beat him up. But then Sheila saves the day when she transforms into a giant gecko and defeats the neighbors.

Amidst the heavy rain and flood, the Lola Amour members performed while on a boat and dressed up in protective gear.

After the final battle and after almost four years, the rain in Manila finally stopped.

Lola Amour’s “Raining in Manila” was released in June and has since been a sensation. Even ENHYPEN, BamBam, and National Artist Ricky Lee can’t get enough of the track. It was also spoofed by Michael V. on “Bubble Gang” titled, "Waiting Here sa Pila."

The band embarked on a tour named after their megahit and their first stop, of course, was in Manila.
