Xian Lim performs classical piano piece under conductor Gerard Salonga
Seriously—is there anything Xian Lim can't do?
Xian's latest Instagram video showed that aside from being a top actor, he can also play the classical piano with skills and passion.
The piece he played was Mozart's "Turkish March" or "Rondo Alla Turca." He performed under musical director and conductor Gerard Salonga.
According to Xian's caption, it was one of the first classical pieces his mom taught him.
"She offered me ice cream and chocolates for every 30 minutes of practice," he said.
Along with his video, Xian also wrote this motivational message about trusting the process.
"I always say this, please bear with me. There will be lots of times where you just feel off and nothing seems to go right. Don't worry, it's OK to feel down from time to time," he said.
"Just trust the process. Baby steps towards every goal. Smile. Embrace discomfort," Xian added. "Be prepared to fail. Do your best and know that everything will fall into place."
Xian added quotes about taking risks and that one should not be embarrassed of failing. He also shared quotes about being surrounded by good people and remaining kind despite the challenges.
Aside from classical piano, Xian is skilled in directing and figure skating, and also has his own podcast titled "Experience Life." He directed an episode of "Wish Ko Lang" and worked hard on his skating skills for his role in "Hearts On Ice."
Xian is one of the stars of the upcoming GMA series "Love. Die. Repeat" with Jennylyn Mercado, Valeen Montenegro, Ina Feleo, and Victor Anastacio.
