'Wonka' premiere moved up to December 6 in the Philippines

"Wonka" just got a new premiere date in the Philippines.

Initially set for January 2024, the Timothee Chalamet-starrer will now hit local theaters on December 6, a week ahead of its release in the US.

The announcement comes with a fresh trailer, featuring Hugh Grant as an Oompa Loompa.

"Wonka" is based on the extraordinary character at the center of “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” Roald Dahl’s most iconic children’s book and one of the best-selling children’s books of all time.
