Fil-Am Kaylee Shimizu, 17, gets 4-chair turn on 'The Voice'

A 17-year-old Filipino-American contestant named Kaylee Shimizu is the newest four-chair turner in the current season of "The Voice."

On YouTube, the musical competition series shared Kaylee's blind audition, where she sang The Beatle's "Golden Slumbers."

Her beautiful performance made coaches Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend turn their chairs.

The young singer from Hawaii said that she has been singing since she was little with her Filipino family.

"I grew up singing karaoke, Filipino family. So, I've been singing for my whole life," she said.

"I absolutely am blown away by you. Your vibrato, it's so slow, and like a wave and it feels like you have so much control over that. I've never heard anything like that before," Gwen told Kaylee.

Niall said that he couldn't believe what he just witnessed.

"That was just unbelievable. When we talk about technically gifted, I've never met anyone so gifted. The song choice was perfect by the way," he said.

"When I was 17, I had not the imagination to be even thinking about singing like you. I'd never heard anybody do what you did on the stage today. It was spiritual to me," Reba added.

Kaylee eventually chose John, who commended her for having "so much confidence delivering these impossible notes."

In an Instagram post, Kaylee expressed her gratitude to those who supported her.

"Thank you everyone for so much love and support! I seriously appreciate it! I'm beyond happy and I still can't believe it LOL this opportunity is a once in a life time thing! 4 chairs is insane!?" she wrote.

"[T]hank you to my new followers and the people that's been supporting me the journey begins... thank you @nbcthevoice."
