'GODS': NewJeans releases 'League of Legends' Worlds 2023 anthem

NewJeans just dropped another hype song, this time for the "League of Legends" Worlds 2023.

The K-pop girl group featured on the track "GODS," which is about the "unbreakable spirit and the unbending heart of a champion."

In a statement, NewJeans said working on the anthem was "a new experience for all of us."

"It was fun to try a new genre and sound," they added. "Through this collaboration, we are happy to present a song that incorporates both NewJeans’ and League of Legends’ unique colors. We hope it brings you a new sense of empowerment!”

NewJeans is set to visit the Philippines for the 2023 Asia Artist Awards. The event is happening on December 14 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.

Other participating groups include LE SSERAFIM, ZEROBASEONE, NMIXX, and Boy Next Door. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
