'Mean Girls: The Musical' to hit cinemas in January 2024

Get in, losers! "Mean Girls: The Musical" is set to hit cinemas soon!

On October 3, just in time for "Mean Girls" Day, the movie teased its fans with an exciting Facebook post.

"January 12 is going to be SO FETCH," it wrote.

Along with the announcement is a "Mean Girls" poster with a musical note in one of the letters.

The film started production in March. It stars Angourie Rice, Reneé Rapp, Auli'i Cravalho, and Jaquel Spivey as Cady, Regina, Janis, and Damian, respectively.

The original "Mean Girls" movie starred Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, and Lacey Chabert, and premiered in 2004.
