'Sesame Street' celebrates Filipino-American History Month

"Sesame Street" joined in celebrating the Filipino-American History Month this year.

On Instagram, the iconic children's show shared a video featuring Filipino-American actor Eugene Cordero.

Eugene could be seen speaking Tagalog words with Cookie Monster and the first Filipino Muppet, TJ — specifically the words "ayos" and "biskwit."

"From all of us in Sesame Street, happy Filipino-American History Month," they said.

The US Congress declared October as the Filipino-American History Month in 2009. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
