Counter-Strike 2 is now here!

Counter-Strike 2 has been launched on Wednesday!

The first-person shooter game is a remaster of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) and is now available for download on Steam.

Developed by Valve, CS2 comes with improved graphics, new content, and technical upgrades for players.

"A free upgrade to CS:GO, Counter-Strike 2 marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter and the largest technical leap in Counter-Strike's history," Valve said.

"Built on the Source 2 engine, Counter-Strike 2 is modernized with realistic physically-based rendering, state of the art networking, upgraded Community Workshop tools, and more."

Counter-Strike was first launched in 2000. The game involves a team of terrorists performing an objective such as planting a bomb and counter-terrorist forces trying to prevent them from completing their mission.

Players have several weapons such as handguns, rifles, knives, and grenades. The game is played in various maps.
