Google celebrates 25th anniversary with a doodle of its logo evolution

Google has turned 25!

On Wednesday, the leading internet search engine celebrated its 25th birthday with a special doodle that showcases the evolution of its logo since 1998.

“Much has changed since 1998 — including our logo as seen in today’s Doodle — but the mission has remained the same: to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful,” Google wrote on its Doodle page.

“Thank you for evolving with us over the past 25 years. We can’t wait to see where the future takes us, together,” it added.

The Google Doodle has been creating various designs for specific occasions and celebrations worldwide.

In March this year, Google spotlighted the celebrated Filipino dish Adobo.
