CCP to screen British plays 'Life of Pi,' 'Fleabag,' 'Hamlet,' and more in cinemas


The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) is set to bring British theater to cinemas.

In partnership with National Theater Live and Ayala Malls Cinemas, the “CCP National Theatre Live (Season One)” is all set to bring some of the best British plays exclusively at Greenbelt in Makati City.

The screenings start on September 26 at 5:30 p.m. with “Life of Pi.

This is followed by “Frankenstein” starring Benedict Cumberbatch on October 31 at 5:30 p.m.

More plays are set to be screened up until May 2024. These include “The Seagull,” “Much Ado About Nothing,” “The Crucible,” “Fleabag” starring Phoebe Waller-Bridge, “Othello,” “King Lear” starring Ian McKellan, and “Hamlet” starring Cumberbatch.

Regular tickets are priced at P250, but students get to pay P150.
