Michael V. sings about lining up for coffee in 'Raining in Manila' parody

Michael V. is back with another song parody, and he once again knocked it out of the park!

On Sunday's episode of "Bubble Gang," Bitoy performed "Waiting Here sa Pila" as Lolo Kanor, a spoof of Lola Amour's hit single "Raining in Manila."

Before a live audience in the studio, the stage was set to look like a coffee shop with customers. A large logo that read "Startruck" was placed beside the menu behind the counter.

Bitoy then appears beside the customers waiting in line to order their coffee, singing a song about what exactly they were doing.

"You've been waiting here sa pila para sa isang kape. Ba't ang tiyaga ninyo sa pila 'di ba mahal na ang kape?" the first lines of the song go.

The song goes on to call out people who don't have enough money to pay for bills but still line up for coffee.

"Tigilan mo na ang gastos mo sa kape! Panay pa-sosyal pero 'purita' pa rin. Nakatambak ang bayarin," the chorus goes.

On YouTube, viewers were all praises for Bitoy's latest "masterpiece."

"Parang ang sarap ipatugtug nito sa isang sikat na coffee shop," one commenter wrote.

Others said that the lyrics hit right on the mark, admitting that they were among those who indulge themselves with buying coffee.

Previously, Michael V. did a parody of "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" by Morissette Amon and "Uhaw" by Dilaw.
