'Castlevania: Nocturne' brings to life Richter Belmont in official trailer

If you loved the "Castlevania" series on Netflix, then you might want to tune in for the spin-off.

The streaming giant just released the trailer for "Castlevania: Nocturne," and it's already full of swords and magic.

The action-packed reel introduces Richter Belmont, who's getting a never before seen origin story of his own.

"I am Richter Belmont," he says. "Last descendant of the Belmont Clan, and I kill vampires!"

"Castlevania: Nocturne" is set in France during the French Revolution in 1792.

The original "Castlevania" series, based on the popular video game of the same name, ran for four seasons on Netflix. It followed Trevor Belmont, Sypha, and Alucard, as they protected Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.

"Castlevania: Nocturne" will premiere on Netflix on September 27. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
