'Drag Race PH': Hana Beshie asks fans to spare DeeDee Marié Holliday from all the hate

It's dramarama indeed for Episode 6, otherwise known as the start of the second half of "Drag Race Philippines" Season 2.

Titled "Dramarama Mama," the episode saw Diamond Star Maricel Soriano serve as a guest judge for the acting challenge the seven remaining queens participated in.

But all the drama, the tension — and tears — unfolded away from the challenge. Hana Beshie and DeeDee Marié Holliday underwent an awkward stage in their friendship after the latter spilled some tea about the former's personal relationships in the Pa-Pwet mini challenge.

TLDR: Hana previously shared some personal things in confidence to DeeDee, which DeeDee shared on air, almost like a punchline for his entry in the challenge.

The rest of the queens instinctively knew was amiss in DeeDee's revelation. Hana was clearly slighted. It was a difficult moment to unpack.

At the Bekenemen viewing party on Wednesday night, the queen from Cagayan de Oro took the chance to air her thoughts about the episode, admitting, "Ito ‘yung episode na pinakakinakabahan ako."

"Sinabi ko na gusto ko sa Bekenemen ako kasi I feel safe here, andito mga sisters ko,” she said.

According to Hana, she was mixture of different emotions, pleading to fans to please not add fuel to the fire.

“Pakiusap naman na, 'wag niyo na i-bash si DeeDee. 'Wag na kayo mag-send ng hate sa kaniya kasi nag-sorry na siya sa 'kin, okay naman na kami ngayon,” Hana said.

[Please don't bash DeeDee. Please don't send her any more hate. She already apologized to me. We are OK.]

Hana admitted it was difficult to watch the episode "kasi alam mo ‘yun, it’s all coming back, the feelings."

She also opened up about wanting to quit the competition so that the production would not air certain scenes from the episode.

“Nung nag-film kami nu’n, bumalik ako sa hotel, sobrang OA ng iyak ko. Tinawag ko ‘yung production, sabi ko tanggalin niyo na lang po ako, 'wag niyo lang i-air or i-edit out niyo na lang ‘yung part na ‘yun,” she said.

[After filming the episode, I returned to the hotel in tears. I called the production team and asked them to remove me from the competition, just to get the assurance that the unauthorized revelation will not be aired.]

Thankfully, the production team filtered the scene down. "It was actually, mas worse siya. Buti finilter down nila — pero again, don't send any hate to Deedee," she said.

In the end, what matters most to Hana is what her family has to say about the episode.

“Wala akong pake sa sasabihin ng mga tao. Sa family ko lang [ako concerned] and I hope maintindihan nila,” she ended.

[I don't care about what other people will say. I am really just concerned about my family. I hope they understand.]

In the episode, Captivating Katkat won the maxi challenge, earning herself an P80,000 cash tip and her second RuBadge of the season.

Meanwhile, Deedee ended her "Drag Race Philippines" journey as a seventh placer.

"Drag Race Philippines" Season 2 is now streaming on HBO GO and Wow Presents Plus.
