Shoti releases music video for viral hit 'LDR'

If you've been grooving to "LDR" thanks to TikTok, good news — there's now a music video.

Filipino singer Shoti just released the MV, a year after his song first dropped. It shows Shoti and his friends giving out roses to random girls as a form of appreciation.

Shoti revealed that the concept behind it was impromptu and casual, with his friends cherishing a cheerful moment together.

"LDR," which is sang in English and Cebuano, received a spike in listeners after a sped-up version went viral on TikTok.

According to a statement from SONY, the song has topped various streaming charts in Southeast Asia. The sped-up version of “LDR” alone has been holding its ground in key markets within the region, peaking at Spotify Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Malaysia at No. 13, 49, 61, and 147, respectively.

In just one day after release, the music video for “LDR” debuted inside the top 20 of YouTube’s Trending For Music chart. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
