Netflix's 'One Piece' live action releases final trailer ahead of series premiere
Are you ready to go to an adventure across the vast seas? "One Piece" is premiering today, August 31!
Ahead of the premiere, Netflix dropped the final trailer, hyping up fans of the original manga.
The trailer shows Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) go on a journey to find the treasure called One Piece and become King of the Pirates.
It also shows the rest of the main cast, Emily Rudd (Nami) and Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), Mackenyu (Zoro), among others.
Netflix announced that they were producing a 10-episode live-action series of "One Piece" in January 2020. Eiichiro Oda, the author of the manga series, is one of the show's executive producers.
"One Piece" was serialized as a manga in 1997 and is still ongoing, making it one of the longest-running manga series in existence. It spawned an anime with the same name in 1999. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
