'Shaman King' sequel drops teaser
The "Shaman King" anime is getting a sequel!
According to a report on Anime News Network, a new series called "Shaman King Flowers" is in the works, and will adapt the manga sequel launched by Hiroyuki Takei in 2012. The first promotional video just got released.
"Shaman King Flowers" will revolve around Hana Asakura, who will be voiced by Yoko Hikasa.
The rest of the cast include Katsuyuki Konishi as Amidamaru, Sumire Uesaka as Alumi Niumbirch, Shun Horie as Yohane Asakura, Michiko Kaiden as Gakko Ibuki, and Romi Park as Tao Men.
"Shaman King" premiered a reboot of the anime in 2021. It ran for 52 episodes.
It adapted all 35 volumes of the manga, which was serialized in Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump starting 1998 until it was cancelled in 2004. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
