V of BTS explores loneliness in music video for 'Rainy Days'

V of BTS has no other companion than his adorable dog Yeontan in the music video for “Rainy Days.”

The vocalist explores themes of loneliness in the cinematic music video. V goes about his day, but then he sets the dining table for two and looks at the empty space in his bed. He also shows off his abstract painting and sculpture skills.

“Rainy Days” is the first track in V’s upcoming debut solo album “Layover,” which comes out in September. It was defined as a song where “V’s voice melds beautifully with the sound of rain and everyday white noises, tugging at the listeners’ heartstrings.”

On Thursday, the vintage-inspired music video for “Love Me Again” dropped.

Music videos for the rest of the tracks in “Layover” will also be released.

V is the final member of BTS to release solo music. He previously released the cozy singles “Snow Flower,” “Winter Bear,” and “Christmas Tree.” He also covered “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” last holiday season.

Meanwhile, BTS’ RM, Jin, SUGA also known as Agust D, J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook have released their solo works starting in 2022. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
