Taylor Swift is releasing '1989 (Taylor's Version)' this October

Your “Wildest Dreams” are coming true, Swifties!

Taylor Swift is dropping “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” on October 27. Pre-saves are now open.

The singer-songwriter posted the album’s new cover on Instagram, showing her smiling with a blue sky and white birds in the background.

In her caption, Taylor said “The ‘1989’ album changed my life in countless ways[.]”

According to Taylor, this is her most favorite re-recorded album.

“To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!” she said.

“1989” holds some of Taylor’s top hits like “Blank Space,” “Style,” “Shake It Off,” and “Bad Blood.”

Taylor has been re-recording her old albums amid a legal battle to gain ownership of her old songs.

In 2021, she released the “Taylor’s Version” of the albums “Fearless” and “Red.”

Just last July, she released “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” with a music video for “I Can See You (Taylor’s Version) (From the Vault),” starring Taylor Lautner, Joey King, and Presley Cash.

Her most recent album “Midnights” came out in 2022. She is currently on The Eras Tour with stops upcoming in Asia and Europe.
