'The Summer I Turned Pretty' renewed for third season

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" is getting a third season at Prime Video.

According to a report on The Hollywood Reporter, Season 3 was greenlit, but production will not begin until after both the writers and performers strikes in Hollywood have been resolved.

Jenny Han, the author of the book trilogy that the series is based on, will return as showrunner, along with Sarah Kucserka.

The third season will consist of 10 episodes, the report added.

"The Summer I Turned Pretty" follows the story of Belly, who meets up with two brothers, Jeremiah and Conrad, every summer on Cousins Beach.
