Nico Bolzico hilariously demonstrates how to leave at a Filipino gathering

While Filipino parties and gatherings are definitely one for the books because of our endearing hospitality, it sometimes gets challenging for some guests to leave, and Nico Bolzico, the husband of Solenn Heussaff, knows it pretty well.

On Instagram, Sunday, Nico shared a hilarious reel where he demonstrated how to leave a Filipino party and gave tips on successfully doing so.

"Foreigners that come to the Philippines will realize pretty fast that Filipinos are the best hosts [on] the planet, but there is a catch[:] they want you to stay forever!" Nico said.

According to Nico, with his 12 years of experience living in Manila, he has already mastered the six steps of gracefully leaving a party.

The first step is to announce your departure and give "beso" to everyone, followed by more "chika" by the door.

Once you make it past the door, the host will accompany you to your ride while still bringing in new topics to talk about along the way until you make it to your car.

When you get in your car, Nico said it will not end there just yet. You will still talk more about several topics until the host convinces you one last time to stay a little longer.

"Being hosted by a Filipino is one of the most [fulfilling experiences] of my life," Nico said. "It [doesn't] matter if you just met, they will make you feel like family right away."

"The biggest asset of this country is its people's heart[.] The second is #Wifezilla (to me)!" he added.

Nico ended his video by saying, "Good luck leaving a Filipino party."

As of writing, the video has amassed over 152,000 views in an hour since its uploading.

Nico and Solenn tied the knot in 2016. They welcomed Thylane in 2020 and Maëlys in December last year.
