Carly Rae Jepsen drops new album 'The Loveliest Time'

New music from Carly Rae Jepsen is finally here!

The singer dropped her new album “The Loveliest Time” on Friday after announcing it in early July.

Although she is known to drop Side B albums, Carly said that “The Loveliest Time” is a companion album about the lessons she learned following 2022’s “The Loneliest Time.” The 13-track album also includes the previously released single “Shy Boy.”

In an open letter on Instagram, Carly said the two albums are “a few pages of from my life to yours.”

“It’s sad sometimes, it’s experimental, and it’s ecstatic too,” she said. “It’s what happens after you’ve survived your first night alone and you realize—I’m okay. In fact, I can thrive like this.”

“Connection comes next," she added. "Find the people that get you and never let them go.”

Carly was one of the headliners of the Wanderland Music Festival last March. While in the Philippines, she explored Intramuros and enjoyed some dirty ice cream.

She also visited Manila in 2019 for The Dedicated Tour, after her album of the same name.
