'Castlevania' spin-off series to premiere in September

"Castlevania: Nocturne," the spin-off series of the "Castlevania" anime, is arriving on September 28.

Netflix unveiled a poster announcing the premiere date.

"Castlevania: Nocturne" follows Sypha and Trvor's descendant Richter Belmont and Maria Renard, and is set in France during the French Revolution in 1792.

The original "Castlevania" series, based on the popular video game of the same name, ran for four seasons on Netflix. It followed Trevor Belmont, Sypha, and Alucard, as they protected Wallachia from Dracula and his minions.
