Miguel Tanfelix, Ysabel Ortega to bring 'Voltes V: Legacy' flight suits to Comic-Con 2023

Attendees of the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con will have the chance to see the Voltes V members' flight suits up close!

Miguel Tanfelix, who plays "Steve Armstrong," shared the exciting news in Cata Tibayan's report on "24 Oras," Wednesday.

"Dadalhin din namin ang flight suits namin dun sa Comic-Con," Miguel said. "Looking forward ako na ma-meet 'yung iba't ibang mga cosplayers na nandoon."

Miguel was joined by his fellow "Voltes V: Legacy" cast members, Ysabel Ortega and Gabby Eigenmann, along with Director Mark Reyes, some of the show's crew, and GMA executives.

Ysabel, who plays Jamie Robinson, said that it was no surprise that the show got invited to the convention.

"Lahat po talaga pinour iyong puso nila to the show and kaya siya hindi nakakagulat kasi 'pag galing talaga sa puso, talagang maa-appreciate ng maraming tao," she said.

The team is headed to the United States for the event, which is the biggest annual comics convention in California and will take place from July 20 to July 23.

Back in April, Direk Mark revealed each flight suit of Voltes V members cost P350,000.

He learned about it while shooting a scene that required a lot of movement from the cast members donning flight suits.

"Voltes V: Legacy" airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." The series is also livestreamed on GMA Network's YouTube channel and at GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
