Herlene Budol proudly shows off Miss Philippines Tourism crown

Herlene Budol seems to be nothing but happy about her new crown.

The beauty queen and comedienne won the title of Miss Tourism Philippines during the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 coronation night, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday.

On Instagram, Herlene shared photos of herself chilling at home while wearing the crown.

In an earlier post, she shared a photo of herself during the competition, saying, "'Yung huli ako tinawag ng Top 10 sa Miss Grand Philippines 2023. Sobra akong CABAnatuan! Wheeeeiiiw!!"

The Miss Grand Philippines crown went to Cagayan de Oro's Nikki De Mour.

Other winners include Michelle Arceo of Bagumbayan, Quezon City for Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Francine Reyes of Tarlac for Miss Eco Teen Philippines.

In 2022, Herlene was the first runner-up at the Binibining Pilipinas pageant, and garnered seven special awards. She was also set to compete in her first international pageant, Miss Planet International the same year, but withdrew “[due] to uncertainties by the organizers” and that the candidates were not treated well.

Aside from pageantry, Herlene is the star of the GMA series “Magandang Dilag.”
