'Voltes V: Legacy' fans divided into Team Mark, Team Steve

Fans of "Voltes V: Legacy" can't help but feel kilig with the love triangle between Steve Armstrong, Jamie Robinson, and Mark Gordon.

And of course, many of them are rooting for their own ship to sail—Team Steve or Team Mark!

Steve, the leader of Voltes V, is played by Miguel Tanfelix and Jamie is played by Ysabel Ortega. If you're a fan of YsaGuel, then chances are you are on Team Steve.

Others, however, jumped on Team Mark after seeing the chemistry between Ysabel and Radson Flores, who plays the broody second in-command of the Voltes V squad. 

To make it even more kilig, "Voltes V: Legacy" has a love theme titled "Ikaw Sana Ang Nauna" performed by Crystal Paras, who plays Boazanian spy Judy in the series.

The lyrics, penned by none other than Director Mark Reyes, perfectly express the dynamics between the love triangle.

In Aubrey Carampel's report on "24 Oras," Monday, Ysabel said the cast is overjoyed to see fans becoming invested in the series.

"Happy rin kami na maraming ring engaged sa kung ano 'yung nangyayari sa Voltes V," she said.

Radson, meanwhile, said they are looking forward to see how the fans will react to what will happen in the love triangle. 

"Gusto naming malaman 'yung mga reaction ng fans, 'yung excitement na bini-build ng 'Voltes V: Legacy' sa kanila," he said.

"Marami po kayong dapat abangan at panoorin n'yo lang po ang 'Voltes V: Legacy,' marami po kayong matutuklasan," Miguel added.

"Voltes V: Legacy" airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
