Jungkook of BTS to perform at 'Good Morning America's' Summer Concert Series
Jungkook of BTS is set to kick off “Good Morning America’s” Summer Concert Series next week.
According to an announcement by the morning show, the BTS vocalist is the first artist in the lineup to perform. Jungkook’s performance will be on July 14, the same day as his debut solo single “Seven” will be released.
The concert series is set to run from July to September at the Central Park in New York City, and Good Morning America’s studio in Times Square.
More artists include Fitz and the Tantrums, Carly Rae Jepsen, Busta Rhymes, Remy Ma, Fat Joe, Hozier, Tim McGraw, and Sam Hunt.
Jungkook’s upcoming single “’Seven’ is said to be an invigorating ‘summer song’ that is sure to have you experience the full breadth of Jungkook’s charm."
Prior to this, Jungkook collaborated with Charlie Puth in “Left and Right” in 2022.
He and fellow member SUGA released "Stay Alive," the soundtrack for the BTS webtoon "7FATES: CHAKHO" that same year.
Jungkook also released “Dreamers” for the FIFA World Cup 2022, and performed the song at the opening ceremony in Qatar.
Meanwhile, BTS celebrated their 10th anniversary on June 13. The group released the song and performance video for “Take Two,” where all members were present.
