Sandara Park drops whimsical teaser for 'Festival' music video
Sandara Park just released an intriguing, whimsical teaser for her first music video, “Festival.”
In the 20-second clip, Dara finds a blank carnival ticket on the ground, which then shows her name. When she picks it up, she sees human lollipops. A lively beat starts playing.
“Festival” drops on July 12 at 6 p.m. Korea time, or 5 p.m. in the Philippines. It is the first track in her self-titled debut solo EP, which will be released at the same time.
Prior to this, Sandara stunned in her concept photos.
The K-pop legend and 2NE1 member has been teasing solo music since March, saying that it will be composed of "different genres," including a "DARA style" love song.
She is set to perform in the Philippines this August as part of the lineup of The Super Stage by K-Pop concert.
Sandara was in the Philippines last June to visit Clark, Pampanga for the first time, where she had a meal in her favorite Filipino restaurants, Jollibee and Gerry's Grill. Dara said she is “so happy” to still be recognized in the Philippines after all these years. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
