Vanessa Hudgens is on the cover of Tatler Philippines

Vanessa Hudgens is an island beauty on the cover of Tatler Philippines’ July issue.

Shot in El Nido, Palawan, the Filipina-American actress and tourism ambassador posed in a gown by Vania Romoff and was photographed by BJ Pascual. 

Vanessa spoke to the magazine about her time in the island paradise, saying, “It’s got a bit of everything. It’s got a metropolitan city. It’s got paradise. It’s beautiful and eye-opening. From early morning hikes to sunset cocktails and karaoke, and catamaran rides… It’s got kindness.”

She added, “Everybody is warm and friendly. The people here are unique. I haven’t met anyone who seems to be having a bad day. The hospitality is unmatched. It’s a magical place.”

Vanessa was in the country last March to film a travel documentary, slated to be directed and produced by Paul Soriano. She was also named a Global Tourism Ambassador for the Philippines.

While here, Vanessa even put her pescetarian diet on hold and visited Poblacion. The “High School Musical” star also tried dancing the tinikling.

She said that being in the Philippines “really lined things up to me.”
