'Five Nights at Freddy's' locks Josh Hutcherson in an animatronic nightmare in official trailer
"Five Nights at Freddy's" has released its official trailer and Josh Hutcherson isn't ready for the terror.
The "Hunger Games" actor plays the new security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where things aren't as they seem.
In the trailer, he's told to keep his eyes on the monitors. However, the restaurant — and the animatronics — come to life in the night.
He learns that ghosts of children possess the animatronics, and the job turns into a fight for his life.
"Five Nights at Freddy's" is based on the popular video game franchise of the same name. Players take on the role of a new employee who then has to make it through five nights of terror and defend themself from the animatronics.
The upcoming film first released a teaser in May.
It is set to hit theaters on October 27. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
