Derek Ramsay recreates viral 'Pare, pulis ako' video with Chris Hemsworth

Who can ever forget Derek Ramsay’s iconic “Pare, pulis ako” anti-piracy video? Well, that video got a huge upgrade with the help of Chris Hemsworth!

The actor recreated the video with Netflix Philippines to promote Chris’ new film, “Extraction 2.” It was done in the same way as the original video-turned-meme, including the scene where Derek bumps into a woman carrying tomatoes, which he steps on as he chases the criminal.

However, Chris beats Derek into catching the criminal and puts handcuffs on him.

“Pulis ako,” Derek told Chris, when asked who he was.

They give each other a fist bump and Derek says “Salamat,” before taking the criminal away.

In 2022, Derek revealed that he is now semi-retired from showbiz to focus on his family. He tied the knot with Ellen Adarna in 2021.

Meanwhile, Chris was recently in Manila to promote “Extraction 2.”

He met select members of the press and fans in a daylong event held at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall which was attended by celebrities and key opinion leaders, including stars Rayver Cruz, Sofia Pablo, Nico Bolzico, Kris Bernal, Ysabel Ortega, Miguel Tanfelix, and Bianca Umali, among others. —Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
