'Squid Game' Season 2 unveils teaser trailer, introduces new players
Who's up for an all-new season of "Squid Game?"
On Sunday, Netflix unveiled the teaser trailer of "Squid Game" Season 2, introducing old and new players in the series.
In the teaser, the returning actors included Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Jun, and Gong Yoo. Four new players will join them in the show, portrayed by Korean actors Yim Si Wan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Sung Hoon, and Yang Dong Geun.
Last year, Netflix confirmed that "Squid Game" Season 2 is happening through a letter written by director Hwang Dong Hyuk.
"A whole new round is coming," Dong Hyuk wrote.
"And now, Gi Hun returns. The Front Man returns. Season 2 is coming," he added.
"Squid Game" features contestants from marginalized parts of society competing in traditional South Korean children's games for money. Winners get a hefty amount of cash, while the losers are put to death.
