'Voltes V: Legacy' introduces Octo-1, the sixth member of the Voltes team

"Voltes V: Legacy" has introduced a new character!

On Monday's episode, Little Jon (Raphael Landicho) finally unveiled Octo-1, the red octopus robot he developed.

He called it the sixth member of the Voltes team.

"Ohayou, konnichiwa," Octo-1 said after meeting Steve Armstrong (Miguel Tanfelix) and Jamie Robinson (Ysabel Ortega) in Little Jon's room.

The two rushed there along with Mark Gordon after hearing the fire alarm, but Mark left shortly after they arrived.

Octo-1 greeted Steve and Jamie, and then moved in front of the camera. Breaking the fourth wall, he told the audience: "Hello everyone, my name is Octo-1."

The robot is named Takko-chan in the original Japanese anime. It can fly and perform other errands for the Voltes team.

In the teaser for the next episode, Octo-1 can be seen joining Little Jon as he pilots the Volt Frigate.

"Voltes V: Legacy" airs weekdays on GMA Telebabad at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also livestreamed on the GMA Network YouTube channel and GMANetwork.com/KapusoStream.
