Coldplay is coming back to the Philippines in January 2024

Coldplay is returning to the Philippines for a one-night show!

Concert promoters Live Nation Philippines confirmed the great news on social media Monday, sharing a poster with concert details.

Coldplay is performing the Philippine Arena on January 19, 2024.

There will be a Live Nation pre-sale on June 19, while general sale happens on June 20.

"Get ready to experience a technicolor spectacle as Coldplay returns to Philippines! Be prepared to sing your favorite anthems from this amazing band who performs a crafted-to-perfection show, while championing sustainability," Live Nation wrote.

The Philippine show is part of Coldplay's second run of Asia dates, following the sellout success of its upcoming Asia/Australia leg in November 2023. 

Along with the Philippines, the UK band will make pitstops in Singapore and Bangkok in 2024. 

Coldplay announced its epic Music of the Spheres world tour back in 2021. They embarked on it in March 2022. 

For the tour, the band has made sustainability commitments including all shows being powered by renewable energy, solar panels at every show, power bikes and kinetic dance floors where fans can charge the show batter to power the C stage at the next show. 

The band also pledges to cut tour emissions by 50%, and promises to plant one tree for every ticket sold. 

Every concert goer will receive a compostable, plant-based LED wristband to wear during the concert, making the crowd an integral part of the light show. These wristbands will be collected at the end of the show for re-use and recycling.

Coldplay last performed in the Philippines in 2016.
