'Extraordinary Attorney Woo' producers share update on Season 2

The producers of hit K-drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" just gave an update on the second season!

According to a report on Soompi, ASTORY, the production company behind the series, confirmed that writer Moon Ji Won is once again on board to write the story.

"We signed a contract with Moon Ji Won last year for her to write 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2,'" ASTORY said.

However, the company said that Moon Ji Won won't be able to work on the script anytime soon because she is currently busy with a film.

"We think she will be able to start preparing the script in earnest after she wraps up her film at the beginning of next year," ASTORY said.

Nothing has been set in stone yet for the production schedule and casting, but ASTORY CEO Lee Sang Baek said last year that they hope to maintain 90 percent of the cast and production team.

"Extraordinary Attorney Woo" starred Park Eun Bin, who portrayed a lawyer with autism named Woo Young Woo. Her love interest was played by Kang Tae Oh, who is currently serving in the military.

Park Eun Bin is heading to the Philippines this month for a fan meeting on June 24. She previously visited the country in October.
