'Tick, Tick… Boom!' will be staged in Manila this August

The musical was previously staged in the Philippines in 2016.

“Tick, Tick… Boom!” is a semi-autobiographical work that follows Jon, a struggling, aspiring composer in New York City, who writes a musical in order to enter the theater industry. That musical ended up being "Rent." “Tick, Tick… Boom!” debuted Off-Broadway in 2001 and gained more popularity as a Netflix film starring Andrew Garfield and directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Meanwhile, 9 Works Theatrical is the company behind “Dani Girl,” “Eto Na! Musikal nAPO!” and many more.
