Aura Mayari of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' S15 cancels Philippine tour

Aura Mayari of "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 15 had to cancel her Philippine tour this month after Dapat Pakak, the production company behind the event, had been unresponsive to her.

On top of that, the supposed venue of the event, Empire Night Club, also closed down.

On Saturday, the Filipino drag queen took to Twitter to officially announce the cancelation of her tour.

"Okay Philippines, this officially cancelled," she said. "They [Dapat Pakak] never sent us a contract which was promised last week, and the bar closed down, and they haven't found a new venue."

"They were also very unresponsive. Sorry everyone! Hopefully next time."

According to Aura, Dapat Pakak posted promotional content about the event on social media even without a signed contract in place.

"Dapat Pakak made the flyer and started promoting the show. So I shared thinking we had all the contracts done," Aura wrote in a separate tweet.

"I asked my agent about the contract he said they haven't sent it, so I stopped sharing the event," she added. "I even asked for the poster to be taken down since it wasn't official."

Aura's homecoming event was announced last April.

GMA Integrated News reached out to Dapat Pakak for comment but they have yet to reply as of posting.
