'Barbie' crashes the real world in hilarious new trailer

Whether you love or hate Barbie, the main trailer for the upcoming live-action movie will have you giggling.

In the reel, Barbie (Margot Robbie) is shown to have a bit of an existential crisis. It prompts her to leave her plastic world and go to the real world to discover what truth is out there. Naturally, Ken (Ryan Gosling) goes with her.

It's not sunshine and rainbows in the real world, however, which they learn quickly enough when Barbie punches a stranger at a park and she and Ken are arrested — and that just seems to be one of many of their shenanigans.

Directed by Greta Gerwig, "Barbie" is coming to the Philippines on July 19. —JCB, GMA Integrated News
