Seoul City, South Korea is lighting up purple this June in honor of BTS's 10th anniversary.
BigHit Music has announced that the supergroup is celebrating its annual Festa from June 12 to 25. The agency released a teaser with the slogan "BTS Presents Everywhere."
According to Korean news outlets, major landmarks including Some Sevit, N Seoul Tower, Seoul City Hall, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, and the World Cup Bridge are turning purple, which is the color associated with BTS and its fandom, the ARMY. This is in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
There will also be events to be enjoyed by fans.
BTS holds an annual celebration of their anniversary called the Festa. Last year, they released their anthology album "Proof" before announcing a group hiatus amid the celebrations.
Currently, two members of the group are serving in the South Korean military, namely Jin and J-Hope. The rest are focusing on their individual projects.
BTS is expected to reconvene in 2025.
