Xian Lim showcases figure skating progress, hopes 'to do more out of the box projects'
Xian Lim made huge progress in his figure skating journey in preparation for his role as Enzo in "Hearts On Ice."
In an Instagram Reel, the Kapuso actor showed that he had some hard falls. But with more training and hard work, he was able to balance properly and perform a full figure skating routine for the show.
"In the beginning, it was frustrating to balance on ice with two blades on my feet but as the days and months went by, what felt like an unattainable skill seemed possible by putting in the baby steps needed to improve," Xian said in his caption.
He added that though he did not have a lot of scenes on the ice, he wanted to immerse himself in the world of skaters.
"I wanted to push my limits and [boundaries] to see how far I can learn given the amount of time we have," he said.
Following "Hearts On Ice," Xian hopes to do more interesting roles.
"It's been a fun ride working on this character and I hope to do more out of the box projects like these for you all in the future," he said. "Thank you for showering us with all your love and support[.]"
Before the series wraps, Xian looked back on the lessons he learned, such as having the drive and passion to do better every day.
